Actually, because there are so many variables involved, I’m not going to tell you how to start your life over so much as generally explain the 4 steps you can take to start over.
So, let’s get started.
The first step is planning. You should have some idea where you want to end up.
This is critical.
Think of it like a plane flight. If you are flying from NY to LA, you don’t just fly in a straight line,the pilot makes little adjustments along the way so that you get to where you want.
Not planning is also an option, but your chances of ending up somewhere you don’t want increase. Just like in the plane analogy.
Me, I’m not a big planner. But, I have a basic plan.
I’m traveling around to a few places I’d like to see before I settle down. This gives me the chance to test the waters before I commit.
I also advise to do what truly makes you happy.
What is it you daydream about? Use that for guidance.
The second step is to start gathering resources.
Gather what you need to get you where you want to end. This could be money, tools, connections or information.
In my case, I’m traveling by bike so I need biking and camping equipment, money, clothes, electronics and a few items I want for when I get there.
I’m digitally nomadding it it for a bit so the electronics are my way of making money.
So, you’ll want to consider what you need for getting there and what you need when you are there.
This is relevant if you are traveling or starting over in the same area and just want a new life.
The third step is to terminate your current responsibilities and attachments.
It could be as simple as saying your goodbyes and cancelling your cable subscription.
It could be way more complicated also. It depends on your specific situation.
For me, it was simply getting rid of stuff and saying my goodbyes.
The last step is the execution step.
Go and/or do it.
This is kind of a blurry step because your new life may be blurred with parts of step 2: gathering resources. Your new life could be gathering resources.
Say for instance that you want to become a nurse. Your execution step may be 4 years of schooling.
So, four years of schooling is your new life and your are still gathering resources.
You can see the blur.
This is the case for me. I’m gathering information about where I want to live. I also am open to the possibility that I’m not ready to pick a place and that my new life just might be continuous travel.
Your execution steps may also blur with steps 1 and 3. Your plans may change or you may want to adjust you plans. And, you may need or not be able to end certain commitments and attachments just yet.
I do recommend eliminating what isn’t working for you. If it’s toxic or doesn’t help you, consider eliminating or at least minimizing it.
This goes for people, things and circumstances.
Anyhow, that’s the four steps I’m using to start my life over.
But, how to start your life over will likely involve these four steps to some degree.
Starting over can be really difficult but you can make it much easier with support from someone who has done it multiple times.

The following is from a rough draft excerpt from a book I was writing but never finished:
One of the natural laws of the universe says that you can attract only that which is vibrating at the same frequency.
Everything has its own frequency including thoughts.
Unconscious thinking vibrates at a lower frequency than conscious thinking.
Consciousness is a higher vibrational frequency. Total consciousness is the highest vibrational possibility in the universe.
When you think unconsciously, you attract lower vibrational people, circumstances and experiences.
If you start consciously thinking, you will start to attract higher vibrational people, circumstances and experiences.
Here Is How It Plays Out:
If you have a positive thought, you’ll get a positive emotion. When you have positive emotions, you’ll (more likely) take inspired action. If you take inspired action, you’ll get a joyous result and feel good. When you get joyous results, you feel good, vibrate at a higher frequency and attract higher vibrational people, circumstances and experiences. When you feel good and attract higher vibrational people, circumstances and experiences, you’ll have more positive thoughts.
If you have a negative thought, you’ll get a negative emotion. When you have a negative emotion, you’ll (more likely) take wrong or no action. If you take wrong action or do nothing, you’ll get an unwanted result and feel bad. If you feel bad because of unwanted result, you’ll vibrate at a lower frequency and you’ll attract lower vibrational people, circumstances and experiences. When you feel bad and attract lower vibrational people, circumstances and experiences, you’ll have more negative thoughts.
That’s it. Sure, some subtle changes to the text would help, but…
Having the knowledge, understanding and skills to consciously control your thoughts so that you can increase your vibration and attract the people, circumstances and experiences that you truly want is no small undertaking.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not difficult but you’ll rarely find helpful guidance on your journey.
And, you will likely need and want help overcoming the inevitable hurdles and setbacks.
Plus, you want accelerated results don’t you?

I lived in the Hamptons on the eastern end Long Island, New York for most of my life.
Often, you could find me at one of my favorite spots: the inlet to the Shinnecock Bay that separates Southampton and Hampton Bays.
On the Hamptons Bays side is where you find me for this account.
I sat in my truck, as I often did, just watching the ocean, people, birds, life…
I think it was towards the end of summer as many people were out but it wasn’t too hot.
Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a seagull hopping. Something was definitely wrong with him.
Immediately, as if directed by some unseen intelligence, I grabbed a knife out of my center console and the towel off of my passenger’s seat.
Taking a circuitous route towards the distressed bird, I sneaked up behind him as Ninja as possible.
He was severely tangled in fishing line and every time that he flapped his wing up the hook would dig into his leg and kind of trip himself.
That’s why when you fish you always make sure to properly dispose of any unwanted line.
I’m pretty sure some of his mean seagull friends were laughing at him but even worse was the fact that he was extremely likely to become fox food.
I threw the towel around him to trap his wings and wrapped him up like a baby so that he couldn’t move or flap.
Basically, he surrendered to me as if he knew I was going to help him.
So, I started cutting and untangling the line and removed the hook from his leg.
Like I said, he was severely tangled so this whole endeavor must have taken 15 minutes or more.
I was totally “in the moment” and totally unaware of what was going on around me.
A large crowd gathered and watched me.
Eventually, I completed my mission and said goodbye to the bird.
But before removing the towel, when he knew that he was OK, he looked as me as if to say how much he appreciated my help but he was obliged to give me a token “peck” because the other birds were watching.
I clearly understood.
I let him go.
He gave me half-hearted peck and flew away.
The crowd behind me started clapping and cheering.
I had no idea…
It’s difficult to explain how good of a freeing it was to free that seagull.
Helping and having positive impact is one of the best feelings in life.
I had purpose, took inspired action and created a positive consequence.
Such an amazing feeling. I can even feel it now as I write this.
Also, I get it when I coach someone to a personal success.
And, It’s even more intense when I coach someone to find their purpose, take inspired action and create positive consequences, results and/or impact for themselves.
I know this is a simple little story, but the effects are massive.
And, the little successes add up to a life well lived.
I call these little success stories “Seagull Stories”.

I invented Beer Yoga, not as it’s known today, but in it’s purest form sometime before the new millennium.
I’ve been practicing Beer Yoga for over 20 years.
In fact, my nickname is Swami Dunkel Dopplebock.
Let me explain a bit.
Beer yoga, today, is known for being practiced in breweries and bars.
Here’s Wiki’s blurb:
Beer yoga is a yoga hybrid, created in America around 2013, in which participants practice yoga at breweries or taprooms, drinking beer during or after asana practice. It has since spread to other countries.
I started doing Beer Yoga somewhere around 1997, practicing it on the canal when I lived in Hampton Bays. I also practiced Margarita Yoga, Jello Shot Yoga and Weed Yoga.
However, I never mixed Yogas though.
Nah, just kidding… I did!
But, unlike today’s Beer Yoga, practicing alone and anywhere is quite acceptable.
Now if you are thinking, Bill, you are a coach, you preach health and wellness, Beer Yoga can’t be good for you.
So, my point of this whole post is to let you know the positive benefits you’ll get from taking “ANY” positive actions – no matter how small or even if done under the influence.
I’m not saying Beer Yoga is better than No Beer Yoga. (It is! : ) ) I’m saying Beer Yoga is better than No Yoga.
I’m saying one push up, one walk, one vegetable, or one whatever that is good for you is better than no whatever is good for you.
Position yourself for success and health.
Take small steps. Build on your successes. Build momentum. That’s one of the best techniques for progressing. That’s my point.
My next point is to let you know that I also invented Beer Coaching.
I suggest coaching without beer, but if that’s what it’ll take to get you started, I’ll do whatever it takes…

It’s also my main summertime exercise program. It allows me to get my heart rate up, sweat out any toxins (by toxins I mean beer) and works my legs, arms and core.
You don’t need any expensive equipment, fancy clothes and there’s no expensive membership fee.
Cutting the lawn is pretty much available to anyone. If you don’t have a lawn, I’m sure a neighbor will lend you their’s.
They may even pay you!
Imagine getting paid to get in shape and healthier.

So Bill, what’s P90 Landscaping have to do with self realization or prosperity?
Great question Grasshopper.
It has to do with what I call Success Positioning.
Success Positioning is the process of putting yourself in circumstances and conditions that increase your likelihood of succeeding.
It’s the opposite of setting yourself up for failure.
Exercise is but one component of Success Positioning.
Others include, but are not limited to, sleep, environment, mental and physical diet.
For example, if you spend a lot of time in a toxic environment, you are decreasing your chances of being happy, healthy and fulfilled.
If you limit or eliminate your time spent in toxic environments, you will increase your chances of being happy, healthy and fulfilled.
Success Positioning is a technique that I always consider and leverage while coaching.
I’m writing a Master Course where I go into specific details about using Success Positioning for your benefit.

I’m sure you do. Almost everybody does.
It’s a subtle, nagging feeling that you typically ignore. A feeling like something is missing, wrong or incomplete.

And, it’s not difficult.

There is a proceeding step that is rarely ever talked about by the so called experts. It’s rarely ever talked about because, yes they can help you get what you think you want, but they themselves have skipped this critically important first step.
The first step to getting what you want is knowing who you are.

The reason this step is critically important is because that if you don’t know who you truly are, nothing you get will ever make you happy.
When you get what you “think” you want, there will always be a level of disappointment or dissatisfaction.
Your heart will never sing until you get what you “truly” want.
And the only way to get what you truly want is to know who you truly are; not who you think you are.
Who you think you are is your ego. It is the misidentification of who you are.
Who you truly are is the witness that never changes. It is your essential self. It is the source of you.
If you have no clue of your essential self, you are wasting your life in futility.
You will never have, do or experience that which truly makes you joyous.
Even if by worldly standards you are successful, you will always be experiencing an emptiness inside.
That’s part of why the rich and famous kill themselves. They seemingly have everything yet still feel unfulfilled. So, why continue?
Well, you don’t have to live an empty, hollow, disappointing, unfulfilled, worthless life.
Then, once you know who you are, you can get everything that you truly desire.
Living the life that you were truly meant to live eliminates all those negative, empty, hollow, disappointing, unfulfilled feeling and replaces them with feelings of purpose, satisfaction, fulfillment, abundance and joy.
It simply is a choice to spend some time discovering yourself or continue trying in futility to make yourself happy using worldly endeavors.
Jesus teaches us “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
I’m saying the same thing, just different words.
So, the question becomes: how to know my essential self.

3 Days to Kill’s Spiritual Insight
There is a family of squatters that Kevin can’t get out of his house, in France, because it’s Winter and he has no legal recourse.
Kevin let’s them stay for that and because the squatters father’s, Jules who is played by Eriq Ebouaney, daughter is having a baby.
Jules promises to leave when the baby is born. But when that happens, Kevin tries to convince them to stay.
What is important is what the father says then. He says “Everything is as it should be”.
That’s an extremely profound statement that most people never realize.
In today’s political climate, a good portion of people are dissatisfied about who is in charge.
In today’s media climate, the media gives those who are dissatisfied a bigger voice.
The voices may change in the next election cycle, but dissatisfied voices will still have the megaphone.
All of those dissatisfied voices and many more fail to understand that we have collectively created whatever mess we are complaining about and that everything is as it should be.
It is as it should be partly because there is a lesson for us to learn. And if we don’t learn it, the circumstances will present themselves again; often with more painful consequences.
On an individual level, you are unsuccessfully fighting what is.
You can’t fight what is. It is. You can accept what is and you’ll feel better. Then, you can start creating instead of fighting.
You are just wasting your time and energy fighting.
Stop fighting and start creating.
Here’s a basic analogy, not accepting what is is like swimming against a current. You will never move very far forward.
When you accept what is and start creating, you are in effect using the current to help you get where you want to go.
The problem is that very few people actually have these skills and understanding.

I help people see the currents, remove their blockages and start using the current to eliminate what they don’t want in their life and create what they do want.
It’s really not difficult when you know how.

I swear by the benefits.
If you are unfamiliar, Qi Gong is a mind-body, healing, exercise, meditation practice. It’s like Yoga but different and the three Intentful Corrections are a foundational component of Qi Gong.
You may be more familiar with Tia Chi. Tia Chi is a derivative of Qi Gong.
Anyhow, the Three Intentful Corrections is said to distill the healing elixir within and promises healing on every level of our being.
“Minding the body and the breath, and then clearing the mind, distills the elixir within.” – Chinese Teacher
Basically, you will be consciously using you mind, body and breath to create balance and harmony in your mind, body and life.
As I said, I’ve been doing Qi Gong and the three intentful Corrections for probably 20 years or so and I rarely get sick.
I can’t even remember the last time I was sick. Sure, I get sniffles from time to time but never anything that would have me miss a day of work.
Can I say it’s all do to Qi Gong and the Three Intentful correction?
I certainly believe it helps.
I would also add that meditation has been scientifically shown to have health and healing benefits. IMHO, meditation is like magnified sleep. It returns your body to homeostasis. Only meditation works better, faster and has numerous other benefits.
And, Qi Gong is a meditation.
How to Do the Three Intentful Corrections
I learned about them from reading Roger Janke’s book The Healing Promise of Qi. There were many beneficial teachings in the book but this was my big take…
The three Intentful Corrections is basically 3 simple steps in my words.
- Adjust your body and spine
- Deepen your breath
- Clear your mind
Just do them as often as possible. Do them as many times a day as you can.

The Most Powerful Book
So, the most powerful book I ever read is Osho’s The Book of Secrets.
Osho, also known as Rajneesh, Acharya Rajneesh and Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh is a controversial figure who called himself the “spiritually incorrect mystic”.
But, don’t let that influence you negatively.
I frequently advise people not to trust me but to listen, evaluate and decide for yourself. Let me earn your trust by repetitively helping you. When I have earned your trust, continue listening, evaluating and deciding for yourself.
The basis for that is also much of the basis of what Osho talks about in The Book of Secrets.
The Book of Secrets is Osho’s interpretation of the 112 meditations described in the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita is a Hindu scripture from around the second century BCE.
It took me about 4 years to complete the book. By “complete the book” I mean, play with all 112 meditations.
I say “play” because, that’s what I did. It’s always been a core philosophy of mine and it’s also what Osho recommends.
This is a serious book that can only be leveraged through playful implementation.
Have you ever heard that said about a book before?
Regardless, “playful implementation” is an important clue to successfully using this book.
You must be playful and you must do the work or you will get less benefit.
This Book Is Not for Everyone
But, If you are serious about your meditation practice, then this is the one book you should buy:
Get Osho’s The Book of Secrets now
If you are just beginning your meditation practice, I recommend an easier Osho book like Pharmacy for the Soul.
Or, in a similar fashion to how I found Osho, you could just go to Amazon and get one of his books that just seems to “speak to you”.
Anyhow, I highly recommend introducing yourself to the subtle wisdom of the most powerful book I ever read as you will, if you playfully implement the discourse, likely enjoy a powerful transformation.

Now that you are all caught up, my second most powerful book I ever read is The Pathwork of Self-Transformation by Eva Pierrakos.
It is a very practical book for getting to know your mind and fixing what isn’t working in your life.
It explains with great insight and detail the workings of your mind. And if you use it correctly you can seriously make your life easier and better.
It’s one of those books that, depending on where you are in your spiritual journey, may be even more helpful the second or third time you read it.
However, when you invest your money and buy the book, spend your time to read it and then implement it’s teachings, you won’t be disappointed as your returns will be exponentially beneficial to you.
Although I don’t suggest everyone read the number one, most powerful book I ever read, I do say that everyone should read The Pathwork of Self-Transformation; and The Power of Now.
Both of these books will help you live a better, happy, healthy and more peaceful life.
But, for a certain few, I recommend the most powerful book I ever read.
I’d have to say that the third most powerful book I ever read is Eckhart Tolley’s The Power of Now.
I read it, probably, almost 20 years ago now.
After embarking on a spiritual journey of books that included The Celestine Prophecy, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Dancing Wu Li Masters, Be Here Now, The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success, The Four Agreements, The Seat of the Soul and many more, I came across The Power of Now.
To my disbelief, I realized that it came as depicted in The Celestine Prophecy; exactly at the right time. And, everything just seemed to fall into place; all the books I read and the the ones I would soon be reading – and implementing.
I’ve never looked back.
I did give copies away to people I thought may appreciate it.
But usually when you give someone the keys to better living, they almost never immediately use them.
The Powerful Effect
The Power of Now had a big, powerful effect on me.
It enabled me to get out of my own way and become the ultimate creator of my life.
I still had much to learn but life became increasingly easier and easier. I was no longer swimming upstream against the invisible current of my self sabotage.
Getting out of my own way became obvious and I began learning how to master how I felt. When I didn’t feel good, I not only knew why, but how to fix it.
As I said, The Power of Now is the second most powerful book I ever read.
Reading it – and practicing that which I learned – was a huge step in my growth as a human being.
It gave me some tools I didn’t have to make my life exponentially easier and better.
But, not nearly as many as the most powerful book I ever read.

We all have been victims of the left vs. right conundrum.
We see it on the news and on our social media sites.
Being left or right simply means that you identify with a certain belief system.
Mentally healthy people are open minded and understand that they are so much more than their belief system.
I’d like to share an analogy that helps illuminate the futility of identifying with and ideology.
If you identify with the left, that means that most of your decisions will have you going left. If you identify with the right, that means that most of your decisions will have you going right.
No matter which side you are on you will make a circle and end up in the same spot and the more extreme you are, the smaller your circle will be.
I’m not saying never go left or right, I’m saying that if you identify with left or right, you will end up mostly going in that direction. And, if you do, you will make a circle and eventually end up where you started.
Stop identifying and make conscious choices and you’ll always be in a healthier-for-you spot.
Continually covering the same ground is a form of insanity and an indicator that you are not growing as a human being. You are making circles, but you are stuck.
If you were growing, you wouldn’t identify with left or right, you’d be moving forward.

What you want will come to you much easier and faster.

“Surrender” is a severely misunderstood word and action.
One a “good” thing; the other, usually not…

I am consciousness.
It is the answer, solution and cure to everything, period.
It is the the ultimate reason, direction, destination and journey
You are consciousness, we are consciousness.
Knowing who you are is the keystone for knowing what you want, mastering your mind and consciously creating your dreams; fulfilling your purpose.
Also, the people who are living their best lives are conscious, the people suffering the most are the least conscious.
Your next question should be: ok, how to be conscious?

You may know the dance like nobody’s watching quote, but today I have a dance like nobody’s watching story.
Dance Like Nobody’s Watching Story
It’s best to imagine it as you read this.
I’m sitting upstairs doing a bit of writing on my laptop.
I hear loud music begin playing outside.
At first I try to just ignore it but I start wondering who is playing music this loud out front?
So, out of the window and I see a Fedex or Amazon truck, not sure, and a young girl delivering a package.
The driver’s side door is wide open into the street and the music, dance music, is blasting.
The home she was delivering the package to has a clear and all glass front door.
Just inside the door, their dog, a sort of Boxer-Pit Bill mix.
Then the young girl delivered the package and started dancing for the dog who sat there with a dumb, confused look on his face.
“What are you doing, woof?”
The music was full throttle and so was she. I mean, she was really shaking it – dancing like nobody’s watching.
Steadily watching her, the dog sat there entertained in doggie disbelief.
Suddenly the dog’s owner came to the door and startled the unexpectant, dancing delivery driver.
She turned and ran back to her truck.
Laughing at the whole event, I thought that’s the way to do it.
Dance Like Nobody’s Watching Quote
The whole dance like nobody’s watching quote is attributed to songwriters Susanna Clark and Richard Leigh for the song “Come from the Heart” and goes like this:
You’ve got to sing like you don’t need the money
Love like you’ll never get hurt
You’ve got to dance like nobody’s watchin’
It’s gotta come from the heart if you want it to work.
Controversy surrounds the quote as others have subsequently changed, added and inverted some lines, then used and credited as the originator. Read this to learn more.
Regardless, the point is that dancing like nobody’s watching makes you feel amazingly in tune with your essential self.
Most, rarely if ever, get to experience their essential self. Even if only for a brief moment.
Most people spend their entire life never knowing their essential, true, higher self.

Every year about this time there is a shit ton of conflicting information being published about how to achieve your goals.
So, I’m going to briefly discuss goal setting then share two points of note to help you decide the best use of your time and energy for 2020.
Know What You Want
First, you are always told your goals must be clearly defined, actionable, realistic and measurable. True enough.
It is absolutely critical to creating the life that you want that you know what you want.
If I asked a hundred people off the street what it is that they want in life, only a small percentage would be able to immediately answer.
And, you not only need to know, but you need to be able to visualize it happening. More on this later…
So, I’m not against goal setting, but I prefer the phrase know what you want. It sounds like less work and more fun.
If you like fun, then I recommend reading The Secret to Happiness.
Also, knowing what you want implies a connection to your essential self and your intrinsic desires. Knowing what you want implies that you know what makes your heart sing. Otherwise, if you achieve your goal, it won’t bring you joy.
I’d also like to highlight the importance of visualization. If what you visualize makes you feel “good”, then it’s likely a worthy goal.
So, my point is that you mustn’t just set goals but you must know – truly – what it is that you want.
Change Your Mind
Not changing your mind is what dooms goal setting to failure.
If you think and believe that which you always have, you’ll only act a certain way for a brief time before falling back into the same patterns and ultimately getting the same results.
It’s critically important to achieving success to find the thoughts and beliefs that are preventing you from achieving your goals, eliminate and replace them with thoughts and beliefs that will help you achieve your goals.
If you change your mind correctly, you can not only achieve your goals but accelerate your achievements.
Specifically, I’m talking about programming you subconscious beliefs for success.

The other day I wrote about emotional intelligence in my Santa Miracle story but didn’t call it that. I basically explained it as finding the positive in what appears to be a bad situation.
I attended the Government Mule concert the other night in Philly and had an incident.
The usher had put us in the wrong seats. I was sitting a row in front of my sister and her husband. My sister complained that the row behind her, which was separated by a 2″ x 6″ ledge was a disaster waiting to happen. Food spillage was her concern.
When we got the seats straightened out, I sat in front of the food spillage disaster ledge and her and her husband were sitting in front of me.
The concert started. Government Mule’s headlining band was really good and we were all enjoying ourselves.
Then I reached back and felt my chair and butt which turned out to be covered with ketchup smothered sliders.
I turned to the people behind me who placed their leftovers on the precarious and lipless ledge and said “really”.
How mad could I be? My sister predicted it and the ledge was definitely a design fail.
I showed the girl who was paying attention to me my chair and told her my sister predicted this.
My sister, by the way, laughed hysterically the whole time.
The girl was really kind – very pretty – and apologetic. She remarked about how well I was handling the fact I was wearing someone’s dinner.
I told her that anger wouldn’t unspill it and we cleaned up the mess. She wiped the chair and I wiped my butt. Someone got me a new chair.
Benefits of Emotional Intelligence
My luck immediately turned for the better as the chair was a stool and I could see better; the next song was Shakedown Street, which is one of my favorites; I talked with the pretty girl and her friends who were really nice and no more food was spilled on me the rest of the night.
And best yet, the pretty girl bought me a beer!
Therefore, having some emotional intelligence saved me from having a miserable night and hurting myself by self destructively pointing anger at others and got me some free beer.
How to Get Emotional Intelligence

Opportunity to Self Realize
When you meditate, you become more conscious and begin to dis-identify with your ego.
As you become conscious, you realize your essential, eternal and “true” self (sometimes called your higher self) then begin feeling whole, complete, at ease, confident and in control.
Feeling incomplete, conflicted, like something is missing, broken or just not right is caused by not knowing your essential self.
Meditation is the best way to reveal your true self and self realize.
Ability Master Your Mind
When you become conscious you gain the ability to master your mind and end stress, struggle and suffering. That’s the second major benefit of meditation.
What causes all the stress, struggle and suffering in your life is your un-mastered mind. And, you cannot master your mind without being conscious.
So, meditation is the best way to be conscious and master your mind.
Ability to Consciously Create Your Reality
As you become conscious and master your mind, you gain the the third major benefit of meditation: the ability to consciously create any reality you wish.
Therefore, unwanted people, circumstances and experiences are a result of not consciously creating your reality. Life will seem beyond your control and negative things will happen to you. You are a victim of life, but more accurately, a victim of not consciously creating.
When you master your mind, you control what you think, believe, feel, create and attract.
When you consciously create, your needs and wants are quickly and effortlessly fulfilled.
Meditation is the best way to increase consciousness and create your best life.

Meditation, the last and fourth step of the 4 steps of thinking.
Hopefully, you have read the previous posts on freestyle, contemplation and concentration. If you have, you know we talked a lot about space, movement, boundaries, consciousness and energy.
These important clues will probably make more sense as we talk about meditation and other metaphysical subtleties.
Meditation is like the conscious off button for your mind.
Meditation is conscious non thinking.
If you stopped thinking but were NOT conscious, you’d be unconscious, dead or hypnotized.
It is extremely import to recognize the importance of being conscious. Seriously, I just wrote that.
BTW, hypnosis has its uses, but consciousness is where it’s at.
Actually, and it took me years to figure this out, but, consciousness is the answer, solution, cure and XXXX to everything.
Don’t believe me? Try contemplating it until you are able to disprove it. : )
Anyhow, before I move on, I’d like to mention another extremely notable point about meditation. And that is that increases your energy, it restores your body and mind and opens you up to accessing the infinite power and intelligence of the universe.
Right! It’s really powerful stuff.

The third step of the four steps of thinking is concentration.
Have you ever been yelled at by a parent or other authority figure to “concentrate”?
Has anyone ever taught you how to concentrate or about concentration?
You’d think someone would have made sure we knew and understand what it is and how to do it before yelling at us.
So, let me clue you to some details about concentration that you were never taught.
And, BTW, the reason I’m pointing out what may seem a bit obvious here is because it becomes critical to understand some of the more subtle points when and if you want to master your mind.
Concentration is when you consciously focus to a single point.
Your thoughts aren’t allowed to move beyond or off of that point. It isn’t thinking or contemplation.
Concentration takes increased consciousness and wastes less energy than freestyle thinking and contemplation.
I’m sure, hopefully, you’ve attempted concentration before?
So, let me quickly summarize the first 3 steps of thinking. Freestyle thinking, as I call it, is unbound, arbitrary, lacks focus and conscious control and wastes energy. Contemplation is consciously focused and constrained by boundaries and wastes less energy than freestyle thinking. Concentration is thought consciously focused to a single point and wastes less energy than freestyle thinking and contemplation. They all, so far, require movement and time.
That leads to the final step of thinking which is actually not thinking. But, I’ll get in to that soon enough…
